Senior Manager of Education

Job Title: Senior Manager of Education

Reports to: Senior Director of Strategy

Location: Hybrid NY Office (Monday-Thursday)

Compensation: $80-$125K

Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic skincare and education expert to supercharge Bubble’s scientific skincare communications and initiatives, both internally and externally. This role is crucial in ensuring that Bubble’s scientific and dermatological approach to skincare is clearly and safely communicated to our fans, our retail partners, and our internal team members. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can develop initiatives inside a growing organization without constant oversight. They should also have a deep understanding of skincare science, scientific research, product ingredients, education tactics, social media education, lesson plans, creating sales materials, leading field teams, assisting retailers in education initiatives, and the development of outreach programs for dermatologists and skincare experts. On-camera and in-person presentation skills are also a must because a key responsibility of this role is the creation of IRL and social educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Development of Education Strategy
  • Implement an innovative company-wide education strategy that addresses the needs of key stakeholders, including field sales, dermatologists, retailer vendors (e.g., Walmart, CVS, Boots, Target, Shoppers Drug Mart), and internal teams.
  • Partner with Sales, Brand Marketing, Creative, and Product Development teams to ensure education initiatives and content align with broader goals.
  • Create specialized training content that supports the sales team and retailer partners, emphasizing a modern approach to skincare.
  • Develop new methods for educating stakeholders about products, reflecting a commitment to effective and accessible skincare.
  1. Event Planning and Execution
  • Serve as the point person at special events to provide real-time coaching, development, and client engagement.
  • Lead the planning and execution of training for consumer events, effectively establishing Bubble as a leader in skincare effectiveness, product quality, and skin health.
  • Lead the planning and development of education events for retail partners.
  • Assist in the planning of Bubble’s presence at the AAD Conference and other dermatologist-focused events.
  1. Retail Education Strategy and Analysis

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to address in-store needs and align educational strategies with business goals.
  • Help to arm the creative department with better science and educational information.
  • Generate reports and conduct ROI analysis to measure the impact of education programs on retail performance.
  1. Content Development and Consumer Engagement
  • Create educational videos for Bubble’s Skin School initiative.
  • Work with the Creative Department to create digital education content within Skin School, ensuring it supports the mission of delivering effective skincare education. ● Introduce creative and innovative ideas to enhance education for internal teams and consumers, challenging traditional skincare practices.
  • Work with the Community team to develop programs and content that enhance product knowledge and align with a mission of accessible, effective skincare.
  1. Innovative Education Tools and Techniques
  • Develop advanced educational tools and techniques focusing on best-sellers, new launches, and brand-level messaging.
  • Stay informed about industry competitors and share insights to refine education strategies and maintain a leading position in the skincare market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as dermatology, cosmetology, biology, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • 7-10 years proven experience in the field of skincare and skin health.
  • Extensive experience creating skincare-related educational content with both real-life and digital purposes, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Deep knowledge of skincare science, including understanding of ingredients, formulations, and skincare concerns.
  • Excellent research skills and ability to translate complex information into accessible content.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail and grammar.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with remote teams.
  • Passion for skincare and commitment to staying informed about industry developments.
