Role: Senior Devops Manager

Job Description
Skills Required:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 9 years of experience with 3 years or more experience working in DevOps CI/CD environment including end-to-end pipeline development from source control, artifact generation and storage, automated provisioning, monitoring.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, certification also preferred.
- Hands on experience in Kubernetes with EKS/OKS/AKS or similar technologies preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java, and writing code and scripts like shell script, groovy.
- Application knowledge especially on Spring Boot based Java microservices is good to have.
- Good team player abilities.
Job Responsibility:
- Mentor/lead developers, consultants, operational team members in adoption of DevOps/automation.
- Assist DevOps leadership with determining and developing quality, automated delivery pipelines with the mantra of “Doing it Right”.
- Contribute to DevOps best practices design including naming standards, modular and adaptable processes.
- Address escalation and bug fixes.
- Monitor technical operations and infrastructure activity for opportunities to improve and refine processes.
- Promote knowledge transfer/education by contributing and updating wiki-based documentation.
- Must have strong communications skills and must be able to work independently and efficiently.
- Meet challenges with resourcefulness.
- Deploying security measures, performing vulnerability assessment and risk management in Kubernetes.
- Managing pre/post release code merges
- Managing the code branching strategies
- Proactively look for ways to automate the installation and upkeep of build tools and dependencies.
Must Have:
- Strong infrastructure design and networking/troubleshooting skills
- Experience and certification in at least one Cloud Infrastructure Service (AWS, OCI, Azure, GCP).
