The Role
Lead and operate Ramp's Deal Desk: manage a small team, structure and approve complex commercial deals, partner with Sales/Finance/Legal/Product/Billing, own Salesforce/CPQ and quote-to-cash processes, design pricing guardrails and approval frameworks, drive automation and data-informed improvements, and build scalable playbooks and enablement.

About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Deal Desk to own and evolve one of Ramp's most strategic go-to-market functions. You'll sit at the center of our commercial engine—partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Revenue Operations, and Billing to help structure, approve, and execute Ramp's most important deals.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role where you'll balance commercial creativity with operational rigor. You'll help Sales win competitive opportunities while protecting pricing discipline, improving scalability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You'll own the operating model that governs how Ramp structures, approves, and executes commercial deals as we continue to scale.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Deal Desk leader who wants to own a function and shape the operating model behind one of the fastest-growing fintech companies.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a small Deal Desk team while remaining a hands-on operator, supporting Ramp's most strategic and complex commercial opportunities

  • Own the Deal Desk function, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Product, and Billing

  • Structure creative commercial solutions across pricing, contract terms, payment structures, and packaging that accelerate growth while protecting the business

  • Design and improve approval frameworks, pricing guardrails, commercial policies, and deal governance that enable the business to move quickly and consistently

  • Own the end-to-end deal approval process across Salesforce, CPQ, contracting, and downstream financial systems

  • Drive automation and process improvements across Deal Desk workflows, reporting, and quote-to-cash operations

  • Leverage data to identify trends, improve operational performance, and inform commercial decision-making

  • Build scalable playbooks, documentation, and enablement that improve consistency and help Deal Desk operate as a strategic partner to the business

What You Need
  • 6+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Strategic Finance, Commercial Operations, or a related function, including experience supporting complex commercial transactions at a high-growth technology company

  • Deep expertise across pricing, deal structuring, contracting, approvals, and the quote-to-cash lifecycle

  • Experience partnering directly with Sales leadership on complex enterprise deals and non-standard commercial structures

  • Experience leading or mentoring high-performing team members while remaining a hands-on operator

  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical problem-solving skills, and a systems-oriented mindset

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Actively leverages AI tools as a core part of daily work, with hands-on experience applying tools like Claude Code to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, and improve decision-making
