What this job can offer you

This is an exciting opportunity to join Remote and make a meaningful impact in the global employment space as the first Deal Commercial Strategy & Operations function within the Revenue Operations team.

We’re looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in deal strategy, deal desk operations, and pricing to help drive strategic, high-impact commercial initiatives. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our GTM organization—particularly with Sales—as well as cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and Billing. Your work will play a key role in maximizing monetization strategies and shaping simple, scalable, and execution-ready process frameworks.

What you bring
  • Solid experience in the software industry, ideally in Deal Desk, Commercial Pricing Strategy, or Revenue/Financial Operations roles
  • A sharp commercial mindset and a track record of leading multi product commercial and contracting negotiations
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable deal processes from the ground up, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Legal, Billing, and Operations
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated judgment in high-stakes, complex deal scenarios
  • Deep expertise in financial and pricing modeling, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and a comfort working with complex structures
  • Proven success partnering with Sales and broader GTM teams, as well as key cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Legal, and Billing
  • A solid grasp of business strategy, financial principles, and legal considerations, with the ability to navigate trade-offs and align deal structures with company goals
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience influencing decision-making and driving alignment across diverse teams
  • Experience working with and managing virtual, globally distributed teams
  • Resilience under pressure, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform in stressful and time-sensitive environments such as end-of-month and quarter
  • Familiarity with software revenue recognition principles, contracting processes, and operational implications of deal terms
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—clear, concise, and effective across written and verbal formats
  • High attention to detail, data-driven, and process-oriented
  • Proficient in Salesforce and CPQ platforms
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Previous experience working in a remote or distributed environment is a plus
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable deal desk processes, partnering closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, Billing, and GTM teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and commercially sound deal execution
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Sales and GTM stakeholders, guiding deal structure, pricing strategy, and commercial terms to support successful contract execution and long-term customer value
  • Manage the day-to-day deal desk operations, including reviewing and approving quotes, facilitating deal approvals, and ensuring alignment with internal policies and business goals
  • Evaluate and structure non-standard deal requests, ensuring clear communication of business rationale and accurate documentation within the Deal Approval System
  • Own and continuously improve pricing tools, calculators, and deal templates to enhance consistency, usability, and strategic alignment
  • Drive initiatives to automate and optimize deal desk workflows, reducing friction and enabling sales productivity across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle
  • Interpret and escalate contractual terms as needed to ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies, compliance requirements, and operational capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Finance, Compensation, and Sales Operations) to ensure bookings, commissions, and reporting are accurate and up-to-date
  • Provide guidance and training to Sales teams on deal best practices, process adherence, and pricing strategy
  • Support high-volume periods such as month-end and quarter-end, ensuring timely deal closure and alignment with revenue targets
Practicals
  • You'll report to: Director, Field Operations, Planning & Compensation
  • Team: Revenue Operations
  • Location: EMEA, AMER East, Latam
  • Start date: As soon as possible
