Job Description:
At Pluralsight, you will be part of an established team of data professionals supporting decision makers across the company. You will work closely with operational teams within the business to gain a broad understanding of the company's data science needs. In this exciting role, you will lead a team of data scientists to deliver analytics solutions that positively impact business outcomes.
Who you're committed to being:
- Hands-on experience in machine learning, analytics, statistical methodology and demonstrated experience using these techniques to solve research and business problems
- Leading a team of Data Scientists, responsible for their professional development and performance
- Demonstrate knowledge of methodologies in Statistics, Data Science, and Machine Learning
What you'll do:
- Managing data science projects and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure deliverables are met
- Developing and implementing predictive models in a production environment
- Testing and improvement of deployed solutions to maintain expected levels of accuracy
- Eliminating "black box" distrust of data science models through effective communication and partnership
- Developing and supporting data science principles and standard methodologies
Experience you'll bring:
- Experience in applying Data Science to business problems and/or product development
- Experience with MLOps practices
- Experience with AWS SageMaker, ECR, Batch
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Expertise in Python and SQL
- Experience producing effective data visualizations
- Experience with project management practices (Agile or SDLC)
Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis. Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $142,200 - $175,600 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
