LastPass is looking for a Senior Manager, Commissions:
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a dynamic global SaaS company headquartered in Boston's Innovation District. As part of the CFO’s Revenue Operations Organization, specifically the Commissions Team, you will report to the Director of Revenue Operations in Raleigh, NC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking a challenging growth opportunity within Finance.
The Commissions Team manages all financial aspects of sales-related commissions by collaborating with Sales Management, Sales Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely implementation and disbursement of commission plans. You will take on a leadership role within the Revenue Operations Organization, applying your skills to drive success in this role.

Who will you work with?
The Revenue Operations Organization at LastPass has high visibility, reporting directly to the CFO and interacting with various internal and external stakeholders. These include Sales, Sales Operations, HR, Controller/Accounting, Legal Counsel, FP&A, Customer Care, as well as Internal and External Audit, and Compliance.
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- Serve as the Xactly administrator for the commissions technology stack, including formulas, rate tables, and complex compensation plans.
- Administer and monitor sales compensation plan acceptance and compliance.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with the quarterly sales certification process.
- Calculate monthly incentive commissions for all sales employees, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency as defined in the commission plans.
- Review, reconcile, and resolve commission exceptions and data anomalies.
- Collaborate with the CFO and Sales Operations Team to plan, update, and distribute compensation plans to management and sales personnel.
- Perform data analysis, including SPIFs, incentives, and period comparisons of compensation plans.
- Build dashboards, reporting, and analytics to serve internal and external stakeholders, including monthly monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Play a key role in planning, testing, and validating new systems and commission-related processes.
- Adhere to month-end and quarter-end deadlines by providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders, which may require extended work hours.
- Communicate effectively with a high degree of professionalism.
- Support compliance and internal/external audit requests by gathering support and authoring required documentation.
- Provide cross-functional support to the Revenue Operations Team as needed.
- Work on special projects as directed by the CFO and Revenue Operations Team leadership.
- Maintain and streamline processes and procedures for optimization.
- Lead global communication and education initiatives related to compensation programs, including change management activities.
- Oversee end-to-end compensation projects from initial concept to successful delivery.
What does it take to work at LastPass?
- Relevant experience in a sales commission and analytics role, preferably with prior management experience.
- Previous experience as an administrator for an ICM tool (such as Anaplan, CaptivateIQ, or Callidus), with a preference for Xactly, and a proven ability to develop, plan, and administer complex compensation plans.
- Experience with the Salesforce.com platform, with Xactly Connect experience considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, analyses, dashboards, and C-Suite reporting decks.
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in managing all aspects of compensation within a global organization.

- Capable of managing large volumes of complex data under pressure with autonomy.
- Accuracy is crucial for success, with a keen eye for identifying abnormalities.
It’s great, but not required:
- Prior experience in the SaaS/software/high-tech industry.
- Experience working in a remote-centric environment with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Proficiency with Tableau, Microsoft BI analytics, and NetSuite ERP.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $155,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
