We are seeking a Senior Manager of Cloud Logistics. You will play a key role in building the future-state logistics network that supports Microsoft's rapidly growing cloud and AI infrastructure footprint.

- Define and execute strategic initiatives that improve the scalability, resilience, and performance of Microsoft's Cloud Logistics processes and operations.
- Lead strategic initiatives that shape the future of Microsoft's global logistics network supporting the Microsoft Cloud.
- Define and drive logistics transformation programs focused on operational excellence, logistics process improvement, new product introduction readiness, and AI adoption across a complex ecosystem of suppliers, engineering teams, and supply chain partners.
- Influence organizational priorities and align stakeholders around future-state logistics capabilities.
- Identify systemic challenges and operational gaps by leveraging data, analytics, and business insights to develop scalable solutions that improve business performance and execution consistency.
- Lead logistics readiness activities supporting new products and new suppliers’ deployments by driving alignment between Logistics and Engineering organizations, ensuring logistics requirements are incorporated early in program design, and developing standards and readiness processes that improve launch execution and reduce operational risk.
- Establish governance mechanisms to track progress, manage risks, resolve escalations, and drive accountability across complex programs.
- Lead AI strategy and adoption initiatives across Cloud Logistics to enhance logistics operations and processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and develop AI-driven solutions that address logistics challenges.
- Drive organizational adoption of AI through enablement programs, change management, and strategic leadership.
- Connect business objectives with scalable logistics solutions, influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries, and translate long-term vision into measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, operations-related roles, or engineering OR equivalent experience.
- Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Proven ability to define strategy and translate vision into executable roadmaps with measurable business impact.
- Understanding of logistics networks, supplier ecosystems, supply chain operations, and process optimization principles.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives across global organizations.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and driving alignment in highly matrixed environments.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and digital technologies to improve business performance.
- Executive communication, stakeholder management, and program leadership skills.

Fulfillment & Logistics IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
