Why do we need you? We are looking for a Senior Manager for our Business Systems team who will play a key role in the Calendly IT & Business Systems team. We are looking for a Senior leader, with a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills who will serve as the lead expert on various backend platforms, like Workday, NetSuite, Chargebee, and Workday Adaptive. This person will report to our Senior Director, IT & Business Systems
A day in the life of a Senior Manager, Business Systems at Calendly
On a typical day, you will be working on:
- Overseeing the execution and continuous improvement of Calendly’s Business Systems tech stack, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable impact on operational efficiency
- Leading a systems team, fostering innovation and collaboration, to guide team members in delivering reliable, impactful solutions across Calendly’s People and Finance functions..
- Proactively identifying and implementing new systems and integration opportunities to meet business needs, gain operational efficiencies and improve user experience
- Engaging with business leaders, functional teams, and end-users to understand their needs and pain points
- Leading end to end implementation of new tech platforms (vendor identification and management, stakeholder input, system RFP and selection, process and specification documentation, project governance, supporting integrations, etc.)
- Overseeing the ongoing support and administration of tech platforms including integrations, data integrity, security and continuous improvement / usability
- Coordinating the development, testing, and deployment of customization for backend business systems with our internal teams and 3rd party vendors
- Serving as the go-to subject matter expert for the design, function and documentation of systems used in the organization
This opportunity is for you if you have/are:
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive business systems experience including hands-on maintenance of NetSuite, Workday, CLMs, with at least 3 of those years managing a team of direct reports
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS tools like Workato, and a track record of building a scalable and cost effective integrations and automation strategy.
- Skilled at translating real world business objectives and needs into technical requirements and vice versa
- Deep understanding of best practices for key business processes (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Hire to Retire, Record to Report).
- Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal communication at all levels to problem solve and yield best business outcomes
- A roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-things-done mindset
- Experience working with and integrating multiple SaaS systems
- NetSuite Administrator certification, highly preferred
- Prior experience as a leader at an organization with a strong B2C focus

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2

$173,400—$234,600 USD
Tier 2 Salary
$159,000—$215,100 USD
Tier 3 Salary
$144,500—$195,500 USD
