Not RequiredCollins Aerospace is looking for a Business Operations Lead to be a strategic and operational partner to the VP of Business Systems and Strategic Transformation (BST). You will act as an advisor and proxy working with BST Leadership, the broader Collins and RTX Digital leadership to translate high-level vision into consistent execution. This role brings a heavy emphasis on orchestrating the department's operational rhythm , tracking commitments, and ensuring relentless cross-functional follow-through like an Air Traffic controller.
This is a hybrid position, with the preferred location being Charlotte, NC. Candidates based at other major Collins Aerospace locations with a Digital Technology presence may also be considered, including Cedar Rapids, IA; Richardson, TX; and Windsor Locks, CT.
What YOU will do:
Orchestrate the Team Rhythm: Design, maintain, and continuously optimize the department's operational cadence. This includes structuring and facilitating leadership team standups, weekly staff meetings, monthly business reviews (MBRs), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and annual planning cycles to ensure a high-performing organizational pulse, working in partnership with the Application enablement team lead.
Rigorous Action Follow-Up: Own the execution tracking mechanism across all battle rhythm forums. Proactively capture decision outcomes, chase down outstanding deliverables, unblock interdepartmental dependencies, and hold leadership team members strictly accountable to their commitments.
Strategic Initiative Management: Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across the enterprise, with a specific focus on BST process optimization.
Governance & Performance Tracking: Define and track Goals, Improvement targets, KPIs, and system health metrics across the BST organization, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals.
Financial & Resource Management: Partner with BST Finance & HR partners to align the departmental budget and resource plans, this work will require significant collaboration with the BST Leadership team.
Executive Communications: Prepare strategic presentations, board-level updates, and all-hands messaging that effectively communicates the BST roadmap and ROI to stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have:

5+ years in business operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, or program management, specifically within a tech or high-growth environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)
Must be okay with 20% travel.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
