Position summary:

This position is responsible for developing strategies and realizing BD, with the aim of capturing and broaden Stryker Japan’s market share for potential markets and further drive sustainable revenue growth
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies of specified new market.  Formulate product marketing and business strategies, including optimal organizational structure, product positioning, pricing, go-to-market plans.  Build strong KOL structure and oversee project management activities such as tracking target hospitals, monitoring program progress, budgeting, and preparing internal and external reports.
  • Contribute to the development of Stryker Japan’s five-year strategic planning cycles

BD

  • identify and pursue new business opportunities, including addressing portfolio gaps through M&A and strategic partnerships with potential target companies.
  • Lead market research initiatives to assess customer needs, gather competitor intelligence, analyze industry and market trends, and identify growth opportunities. Marketing
     

Marketing

  • Drive marketing excellence across Stryker Japan by leading key projects and implementing marketing talent development programs and further enhance & develop Stryker Japan’s marketing capabilities
     

Education & Experience:

  • At least five years’ experience in marketing, either as Marketing Manager or Product Marketing Manager with potential people management experience and marketing experience within medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communication or Business Administration, or in Medicine or Biomedical Engineering.
  • A proven track record in developing and administering marketing programs; BD and digital marketing experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  • Exhibits enterprise-wide leadership, consistently prioritizing the overall success of Stryker Japan beyond formal organizational boundaries and personal responsibilities
