Role Summary

This role is responsible for developing and expanding tours offerings in Japan for inbound travelers, focusing on building strong partnerships and driving business growth within the assigned merchants and destination regions. The mission is to create compelling travel experiences for global customers by ensuring a diverse and competitive product offering.

What You’ll Do

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Identify business opportunities within the assigned destination/market with existing merchants, to optimize existing products or acquire new products that align with the needs of global travelers.

    • Leverage Klook’s strengths to ensure a market-leading product portfolio that delivers high-quality experiences

    • Drive business growth by optimizing supply, strengthening strategic partnerships, and maintaining high product quality to meet Klook’s global user expectations.

    • Maintain regular communication with existing merchants, conduct business reviews, opportunity identification and updates with merchants on a routine basis.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supplier operations, customer service, finance) to maximize sales performance, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction.

    • Support market leaders by analyzing industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights through continuous research and market feedback.

What You’ll Need

  • At least 3 years of work experience with 2 years in the Travel industry, e-commerce, or a related industry. Experience with DMOs (Destination Marketing/Management Organizations), tour operators, or experience providers is a plus.

  • Strong commercial acumen with solid analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach; comfortable with fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Highly collaborative and independent, with a goal-oriented and self-motivated personality.

  • Globally minded and comfortable working across different cultural backgrounds and time zones.

  • Fluent in Japanese and Chinese. English proficiency is a plus.

Skills Required
