The Senior Manager, Business Development – Clinical Solutions is responsible for driving accelerated growth and market expansion of IDT’s NGS Clinical Solutions across EMEA, increasing adoption and revenue while outperforming industry growth. It also ensures IDT is positioned as a preferred partner across end‑to‑end clinical genomics workflows by building strategic partnerships, strengthening thought leadership, and delivering integrated portfolio value.

This position reports to the Director of Sales, NGS Clinical Solutions and is part of the NGS Clinical Solutions Sales Team in EMEA. This role will be fully remote.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop a 3–5-year strategic commercial growth plan for the EMEA business under the guidance of the Director, NGS Clinical Solution Sales, and build relationships with key stakeholders—including decision-makers and C-suite leaders—to maximize IDT’s value proposition.
  • Position IDT as a primary or preferred provider for all NGS Clinical Solutions workflows.
  • Act as a portfolio‑level commercial leader, driving cross‑portfolio engagement to ensure the broader IDT offering is embedded within key accounts.
  • Build a thought leadership network and strengthen IDT’s market leadership position.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in IDT’s NGS Clinical Solutions and apply it across customer needs, applications, and competitive dynamics using market and customer insights.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • PhD in a Life Science discipline with a minimum of 5 years business development experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years sales experience in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment within a clinical setting.
  • Strong collaborative skills to be able to convert customer and market insights into business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging executive‑level and strategic decision‑makers, shaping long‑term adoption strategies across multiple technologies within complex clinical organizations.
  • Proven experience engaging executive stakeholders and shaping long-term adoption strategies.

Travel & Motor Vehicle Record Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – minimum of 50% (domestic and within EMEA) of the time
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in identifying, developing, and growing new markets with limited brand awareness, establishing presence and driving early adoption.
  • Experience engaging with high-level clinical and regulatory bodies (e.g., government agencies and national healthcare organisations) to influence in‑country strategies and drive adoption within hospital systems.
