The Role

This role leads the delivery, optimization, and continuous enhancement of Salesforce CPQ solutions, with a strong understanding of Sales Cloud (GTM) and surrounding applications. Combining technical acumen with strategic leadership, the Senior Manager will drive scalable, secure, and efficient solution implementations—ensuring seamless collaboration across development, operations, and quality teams. The role also focuses on improving delivery frameworks, enhancing performance, and integrating boundary systems to support end-to-end sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce CPQ initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Confirm and document project scope, impact, priorities, and delivery timelines; develop and manage detailed project plans with achievable milestones.
  • Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams in the US and India, facilitating effective communication and execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and customers to align on goals, set expectations, and ensure stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Prioritize and manage technical debt, proactively maintaining the health, scalability, and stability of the Salesforce platform.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve system performance and process efficiency, with a continuous focus on long-term platform stability and business enablement.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues, deployments, and incident resolution—ensuring timely responses and driving root cause analysis for long-term solutions.
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, ensuring alignment on goals, progress, and next steps; provide regular status updates to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Prioritize initiatives and resources to meet delivery goals while managing operational demands and evolving business needs.
  • Lead and support technical discussions, demonstrating an ability to translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase speed, scalability, and reliability of Salesforce platform deliveries.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align IT operations with business strategy, manage budgets, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery of key initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in IT, enterprise systems, or business applications management, with a focus on Salesforce and related platforms.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Salesforce, including administration, configuration, and system integration.
  • Strong functional understanding and practical experience across Lead-to-Cash and Support business processes, particularly within Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams within fast-paced, global environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to drive change across cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones, especially in US and India setups.
  • Deep experience in DevOps and release management practices, including the design and operation of CI/CD pipelines and scalable deployment frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce CPQ, and Sales Cloud; exposure to Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools and automation frameworks for CI/CD and release orchestration.
