Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Billing Operations and Platforms, addresses the critical need for seamless revenue operations within the BoostMobile and GenMobile ecosystems. This role solves complex integration and scalability issues by providing strategic direction to teams managing Billing, Charging, and Mediation platforms. By aligning high-availability technical performance with business-critical KPIs, the person in this role ensures long-term profitability and operational excellence.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
- Provide end-to-end technical and delivery leadership for billing features while aligning innovative technology with overall business strategy
- Direct vendor relationships and SaaS-related financial commitments for primary systems including Amdocs, Matrixx, and DigitalRoute
- Mentor high-performing on-shore and off-shore teams to foster a culture of excellence in systems analysis and configuration
- Maintain comprehensive system process documentation to ensure all billing operations meet strict security, audit, and SOX compliance guidelines
- Utilize tools like Grafana and ElasticSearch to establish KPIs that translate technical performance into tangible business growth
- Implement AI-driven anomaly detection to proactively identify billing errors and prevent revenue leakage across all platforms
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)
- Deep expertise in Billing Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS), including large-scale platform conversions and data migrations
- Mastery in establishing IT organizations focused on high-availability infrastructure (99.9% uptime) and incident management
- Advanced proficiency in ITIL frameworks to standardize triage paths, ticketing systems, and automated resolution protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear technical documentation and training to stakeholders
- AI Literacy and the ability to apply machine learning concepts to optimize billing operations and operational workflows
- Critical experience leading software engineering teams and managing significant headcounts in a formal management capacity
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Critical experience in software engineering or systems leadership, with at least 4+ years in a formal engineering management role overseeing 10+ direct reports
- Expert-level knowledge of BSS/OSS architectures
- Proficiency in data visualization and logging tools (Grafana, ElasticSearch)
- Advanced understanding of operational frameworks (ITIL)

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year
