The mailroom team is looking for a Senior Mail Expediter. The Senior Mail Expediter prepares incoming mail for distribution and processes outgoing mail. Distributes and collects mail, determines and affixes postage, maintains records of postage, registered mail and packages, plus more. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Sorts incoming mail and courier packages for distribution.
- Distributes mail and packages internally on assigned campus mail runs.
- Distributes and collects mail, determines and affixes postage, and maintains records of postage, registered mail, and packages.
- Processes outgoing mail and packages to ensure everything collected goes out the same day.
- Assists associates with shipping and part orders.
- Maintains a neat, organized appearance of the work area.
- Assists team with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid FL Driver's License.
- Ability to identify mail stops and their locations on our campus.
- Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and time management.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of associates, vendors, and customers.
- Experience with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred).
- Ability to work evenings and overtime based on business needs.
- Ability to work in different weather climates while delivering packages.
- Outdoor/Indoor position that involves frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
