Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing AI/ML team. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining advanced machine learning solutions to solve real-world business problems. You should be passionate about data, enjoy building robust models, and be equally comfortable in both research and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using ML/AI.
• Conduct deep exploratory data analysis using SQL and other data tools.
• Develop, train, and evaluate classical and advanced ML models (regression, classification, clustering, deep learning, etc.).
• Build proof-of-concepts and experiments to test hypotheses and demonstrate business value.
• Deploy ML models into production environments, collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams for scalable deployment.
• Monitor and maintain ML models in production, ensuring performance, accuracy, and stability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in ML/AI engineering or related fields.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL for data exploration and analysis (must-have).
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Experience with classical ML algorithms (regression, classification, clustering) as well as deep learning models.
• Experience with model deployment, serving frameworks, and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, version control (Git), and code reviews.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for model training and deployment.
• Ability to design and execute POCs and experiments with clear KPIs.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Generative AI use cases (LLMs, embeddings, transformers).
• Exposure to MLOps frameworks and tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker, etc.).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Streamlit, Dash).
