As a Senior Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, you'll be a vital part of a global team building AI/ML solutions both within and outside the ServiceNow platform. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is excited about cutting-edge technology. You'll work within an agile team to design and develop solutions that enhance the employee experience at ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build world-class cloud-based AI/ML solutions to power intelligent services.
• Collaborate closely with a team of developers and product managers to deliver high-quality software.
• Partner with product owners to understand requirements and take ownership of your code from design to implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Mentor and coach staff on AI/ML best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Collaborate with the product organization to stay informed about upcoming AI products and drive alignment between AI solutions and business goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions, integrating automated feature engineering and AutoML into core business processes.
• Lead and inspire innovation sprints and hackathons to cultivate creative AI-driven ideas and drive product improvements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields is preferred.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data architecture, or AI/ML architecture roles.
• Proven experience in leading AI and machine learning initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
• Extensive experience with AI platforms, cloud-based data architectures, and machine learning frameworks
• Expertise in JavaScript, Python, object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and efficient algorithms.
• Proficiency in core AI/ML techniques and algorithms.
• Experience with the ServiceNow Platform and Now Assist Skill Kit.
• Familiarity with unit testing, profiling, and code optimization.
• Knowledge of vector databases, large language models (LLMs), fine-tuning, and platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Hugging Face, and LangChain/Langflow/Flowise.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $136,700 - $232,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
