Job DescriptionOur client is a trusted partner in the financial-banking sector in Germany, both in the public and private sectors who offers services for over 150,000 banking workstations and for more than 4,500 employees. It covers over 60% of banking sector in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain Automation Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python (FastAPI), and Java to support enterprise applications and operational processes.
- Build & Integrate Backend Services: Build, enhance, and maintain backend APIs and integrations with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
- Automate Identity & Access Management: Automate identity and access management tasks, user lifecycle processes, and administrative workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Troubleshoot & Optimize Enterprise Applications: Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications and services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Drive Security & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions by following security, quality, and operational best practices, with a strong focus on customer needs and banking industry standards.
Must have:
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and backend development using Java and Python (FastAPI).
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and integration concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift and Linux environments.
- Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Familiarity with or understanding of banking-related processes
- German language is considered a plus
