Senior Logistics Programme Manager
Location: Hybrid working with your primary office location being whichever is closest to you: Derby, Warrington or Manchester
Salary: £75,437 – £93,187 + £5,000 cash allowance + 17% bonus

The role
Reporting to the Head of Logistics Planning, the Senior Logistics Programme Manager is responsible for leading the definition, development and delivery of Supply Chain Execution capabilities across the programme.
You’ll operate as the subject matter expert for logistics execution—ensuring systems, data flows and processes are fully defined to support end-to-end planning, scheduling and physical movement of materials across multiple global sites.
You will lead a team of circa 15, manage budgets of ~£100m, and play a central role in integrating logistics across manufacturing, construction and engineering to enable successful powerplant delivery.
What you’ll be doing
Leading the capture and definition of Supply Chain Execution system requirements and aligning them to digital delivery solutions
Ensuring all end-to-end logistics processes are mapped, integrated and optimised across the programme
Driving logistics planning inputs including cost estimates, schedules, risk profiles and freight strategies for customer programmes
Acting as a key interface with customers, supporting current and future delivery programmes with logistics expertise
Establishing governance and reporting for cost, schedule and performance (including integration into programme controls such as P6)
Designing and enabling control tower capability through robust, real-time data flows across suppliers and logistics partners
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and international trade regulations
Building, leading and developing a high-performing logistics team
Collaborating with SMEs and external partners (including 3PL/4PL providers) to ensure seamless execution
Driving continuous improvement and future-proofing logistics solutions beyond current industry standards
What you’ll bring
Significant experience in logistics and supply chain management within complex, large-scale programmes
Deep understanding of Supply Chain Execution systems and how digital solutions enable end-to-end optimisation
Experience delivering logistics strategies across manufacturing, infrastructure or major project environments
Strong leadership capability, with experience building and leading high-performing teams
Proven ability to operate across customer, technical and commercial interfaces
Experience with planning and control frameworks (e.g. S&OE)
Strong programme governance, reporting and risk management capability
Ability to define and implement integrated supply chain processes, including collaboration with logistics partners (3PL/4PL)
Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) with a commitment to continuous professional development
Experience in infrastructure, construction, manufacturing or regulated industries (nuclear desirable)

- Experience managing teams (~15 headcount) and large budgets (~£100m)
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, manufacturing or regulated industries (nuclear desirable)
- Knowledge of safety, environmental and international trade compliance for logistics
