The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring all activities related to Logistics, distribution, warehousing, and transportation of the same.
This position reports to the Middle East & Global Projects Logistics Manager and is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics located in India - Pune and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan, manage, and monitor logistics operations, including distribution, warehousing, and transportation.
- Serve as the primary cross-functional point of contact to control material and product flow to project and customer sites.
- Conduct periodic shipping analyses and deliver timely shipping reports.
- Manage oversized project shipments, including special handling requirements and permits.
- Participate in pre-order and handover meetings (F&B and Energy+).
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Management or any other bachelor’s degree.
- At least 10 years’ experience in Logistics Export Import and must have a strong knowledge in India and APAC customs clearance.
- Must be very competent in SCOMET and have the experience required to apply and obtain a SCOMET license.
- Expert in shipping process for import and export shipments - Controlling the import permit process and assuring the compliance with the requirements of the authorities in India and APAC Countries.
- Ability to work to deadlines and set priorities with a demanding workload.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel 20-30 % – ad hoc generally; Domestic and inter-region travel; some international travel to support Pall Global projects if needed.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- DG knowledge. Preferred to be an IATA DGR certified.
- International Trading generally in India and APAC region.
- Competent in SAP.
- Competent PC skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
