Join our team as a Senior Localization and Mapping Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge algorithms for precise robot localization and environmental mapping. Your expertise in computer vision and sensor fusion will directly enhance robotic performance in dynamic, real-world environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test localization and mapping algorithms for autonomous systems.
- Create robust and scalable solutions for dynamic indoor and outdoor environments.
- Enhance localization through multi-sensor data fusion.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software for real-world deployment.
- Collaborate with hardware and AI teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Stay updated on advancements in SLAM and AI technologies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of classical computer vision algorithms and feature matching.
- Experience with LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, IMU, GNSS, and calibration.
- Proficiency in linear algebra, probability, optimization techniques, and C++.
- Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration with the teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- Published work in AI robotics solutions.
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques for localization and mapping.
- Expertise in learning-based vision techniques and real-time GPU programming.
- Experience with actuators, sensors, and low-level control systems.
- Proven ability to optimize and deploy real-time autonomous systems in fast-paced environments.
