Senior Linux AI Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Linux AI Infrastructure Engineer with specialized expertise in Virtualization and SAN Storage to act as the primary architect for our future infrastructure development.

This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on a massive, cutting-edge playground. You will have full ownership of a high-performance stack that includes over 60 of the latest NVIDIA GPUs and ultra-high-throughput all-flash storage systems. You won’t just maintain this environment, you will be the main person driving its future scaling, design, and evolution.

You will join a critical team driving the engine behind our top-tier biometric machine learning models, directly supporting the development of cutting-edge algorithms that consistently rank at the top of global benchmarks.

In your first months, you’ll...

• Dive deep into our existing cluster architecture, Proxmox virtualization setups, and Ceph storage configurations.
• Get hands-on with our R&D AI server infrastructure, including high-density GPU and AI computing nodes.

As you settle into the role, you’ll start contributing by...

• Taking ownership of computing servers and storage performance tuning.
• Automating environment deployments and infrastructure-as-code using Ansible.

• Architect next-generation scaling solutions, seamlessly bridging our robust on-prem power with hybrid cloud capabilities.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of next-gen object storage solutions, such as replacing or scaling our MinIO/S3 infrastructure for Big Data.

You are a performance-driven Linux Engineer who bridges the gap between hardware architecture and scalable software environments. With deep expertise in SAN fabrics and virtualization, you pride yourself on building infrastructure that is both bulletproof and flexible. You have a genuine passion for pushing the limits of high-performance infrastructure, and you are excited by the prospect of working directly with cutting-edge components like the latest NVIDIA GPUs for machine learning and high-throughput all-flash storage. • Linux & Performance Engineering: Expert-level Linux system administration with deep kernel and system tuning expertise (I/O wait, memory management, CPU scheduling) to optimize high-throughput, heavy R&D workloads.
• Virtualization & Compute: Proven production experience managing and scaling specialized, accelerator-backed environments (Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU, or VMware) hosting dense GPU architectures.
• Observability & Monitoring: Proficiency with Zabbix and Prometheus/Grafana stacks, including specific experience monitoring specialized metrics like GPU utilization, thermal/power throttling, and storage IOPS to maintain cluster health.

• Advanced Storage Architecture: Strong expertise in SAN fabrics (Fibre Channel, iSCSI) and distributed storage platforms (Ceph, ZFS, S3), with a proven track record in high-throughput all-flash performance and tuning.
• High-Speed Networking: Practical knowledge of RDMA and RoCE to accelerate low-latency storage performance (Ceph/NFS) within a High-Performance Computing (HPC) context.
• Infrastructure Automation: Experience automating large-scale environment deployments and infrastructure-as-code using Ansible.

👋 Introduction Stage (~30 min.)

 🧑‍💻 Team Interview Stage  (~180 min.)

We have a one single interview round that takes approximately 3 hours and is divided into three stages:

• Technical Interview [45 min.]: An interactive session with our technical team where we’ll explore your problem-solving approach, technical knowledge to the role
• Independent Task [180 min.]: You will work individually on a practical assignment designed to reflect real-world challenges.
• Evaluation & Feedback [30 min.]: We'll review your solution together with the team and discuss your approach in more detail.
