The role

We are looking for an experienced marketer to support the lifecycle marketing strategy for Galileo partnerships. This individual will own and develop a data-driven lifecycle marketing engagement strategy across various touch points, including email, push, and in-app, with an emphasis on engaging and educating members on rewards programs for new Galileo partnerships. This person will be responsible for analyzing performance data, optimizing the right channel mix, and driving activation and engagement through programmatic and marketing campaigns relative to the needs of each Galileo partnership. This individual will partner with the Galileo engineering team, SoFi’s Lifecycle Marketing Technical Management team, and the LCM Technical Operational Teams to ensure the success of all activation and engagement efforts. A great candidate for this position will be experienced in delivering meaningful business outcomes by driving relevant and personalized communications at each stage of the customer lifecycle and has extensive experience in project management. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop comprehensive project timelines and workback schedules. Act as the key point of contact to monitor progress and manage potential roadblocks.
  • Implement and oversee structured processes for campaign execution, including setting milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring all involved teams follow a clear, optimized timeline to meet engagement goals.
  • Build a lifecycle marketing roadmap that will drive activation and engagement for each partnership. This person will manage projects across creative and lifecycle tech ops to execute campaigns. 
  • Plan marketing campaigns, engaging with members across various touch points (email, push, in-app, SMS, and content cards).
  • Manage the onboarding roadmap for each Galileo partnership to optimize for full-funnel program performance. This could include machine learning, propensity modeling, and multi-variant experimentation. 
  • Draft creative briefs and manage relationships with SoFi Creative Studio, creative agency, and lifecycle tech-ops. Responsible for ensuring that creative meets brand guidelines and legal/compliance requirements and executes the marketing team’s vision. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including Product Marketing, Engineering, Brand Marketing, Creative, and Data Science. 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a technical field (or equivalent experience) 
  • 6+ years of direct-to-consumer lifecycle management experience, including email, in-app, push, and SMS.
  • A proven track record of driving lifecycle marketing strategy with expertise in new member onboarding and retention activities at scale.
  • Strong analytical background with experience using various testing methodologies.
  • Experience working with creative agencies or internal creative studios in developing marketing assets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience presenting channel strategy and campaign results to cross-functional partners and executive leadership.

Nice to have:

  • MBA or other advanced degrees
  • Previous finance or tech industry experience
  • Experience with Braze or similar platforms

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
