What this role is all about
The Senior Legal Associate manages regular and more complex tasks under some supervision, conducts research, and provides recommendations to enhance company processes, policies, and procedures.
What you'll do:
- Manage regular tasks and handle more complex tasks/contracts within the assigned work unit.
- Handle specific initiatives or parts of key projects under the assigned work unit.
- Work on more complex agreements, cases, projects, and administrative tasks with some supervision.
- Monitor the fulfillment of work unit-related strategy and initiatives and suggest necessary steps for timely implementation.
- Create new legal policies and procedures, suggest improvements, and execute them.
- For regional SLA roles: Manage end-to-end legal matters for particular countries within the region as directed by the Line Manager.
- Proficient in majority of responsibilities that fall under the assigned work unit and has shown strong preferences and recognized results in specific areas of work.
- Can have responsibility over matters falling outside the assigned area, such as projects, collaboration in mission teams and similar.
- Mentor Legal Associates.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations, assisting in advising the organization on compliance requirements and best practices.
What makes you a strong fit:
- A completed bachelor degree in law.
- Strong knowledge and proven experience with labor law.
- Familiarity with commercial and corporate law is highly valued.
- Al least 2 years of experience with labor law.
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal, is essential.
- Ability to work in foreign language in addition to English is an advantage: French, Spanish, Italian,... etc.
- Proficient in MS Office tools to effectively manage tasks and legal documentation.
