Summary:

In this role, you will manage the learning analytics platform and dashboard lifecycle by gathering requirements, designing and optimizing analytic solutions, and ensuring high-quality, data-driven reporting. You will support enterprise learning platforms including Docebo LMS and Power BI dashboards that measure engagement, utilization, performance, impact and Return on Investment (ROI), enabling data-informed decision-making and strategic alignment. You will drive engagement by analyzing data and recommending next steps to the product owners, enabling them to make data driven decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex learning data into actionable insights that demonstrate value, drive innovation, and ensure reliable platform performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements, and translate them into user stories, use cases, and analytics specifications.
  • Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery workshops, and design sessions to understand business processes and analytics needs.
  • Manage the learning analytics platform and dashboard lifecycle, including backlog development, dependency coordination, and quality assurance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex analytic dashboards and reports using Power BI to measure engagement, utilization, performance, and impact and ROI.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and integrations across multiple platforms and data assets.
  • Lead visualization and User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) design discussions, providing guidance and recommendations to improve clarity, usability, and performance.
  • Identify data anomalies, recommend corrective actions, and assess the downstream impact of changes across platforms or teams.
  • Translate learner usage data into insights that improve learning journeys, content effectiveness, and user experience.
  • Develop and execute testing and quality assurance plans to validate data accuracy and analytic outcomes.
  • Evaluate and apply ChatGPT Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance learning dashboards, analytics automation, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including semantic modeling, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) optimization, and enterprise dashboard development required.
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics, SQL, HTML, CSS, JSON, APIs, and integrating data across multiple platforms or data assets required.
  • Experience supporting learning platforms and content technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), Docebo Learn Data, and Google Analytics required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead requirements gathering, translate business needs into analytics solutions, and manage deliverables through the product lifecycle.
  • Experience with MS Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, SharePoint, Lift Analytics, and Sitecore highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with data modeling, analytics engineering, and testing or quality assurance methodologies.
  • Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to generate clear, non-biased, and actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to leadership.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
