Job Description

The WEB Center of Excellent (WEB COE) under IT is looking for a dynamic and open-minded individual to join us as a Senior Lead Systems Engineer. You will be part of a global team together with the IFS Global business process owners and technical team. We develop multidisciplinary and customer-driven web-based solutions driving towards a scalable and agile solution for the future.

As a Senior Lead Systems Engineer, you will be expected to work alongside the Business system analyst to understand stake holder’s business and functional objectives and translate them into a technical solution to deliver value to the customers. On top of that, you will be working with Lead Software Engineers to solve technical challenges and apply solutions while collaborating with rest of the system engineers.

Primary job responsibilities 

• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, Monitoring, and maintaining the IFS Product suits.
• Participate in internal and customer/prospect-facing technical discussions, 
• Applying the best engineering and architectural concepts to deliver high-quality solutions. 
• Troubleshooting software defects of web-based applications.
• Analyzing technical faults, evaluating technical configuration, and handling integrations of the public-facing Web sites and portals as per the IFS support offerings. These websites are hosted both on-prem and in the Azure Cloud.
• Ensuring product performance and maintainability by adhering to IFS standards, guidelines, processes, and tools.
• Being familiar with integration technologies and standards used in the industry. Ability to understand complex integrations between IFS Solutions and external systems for development and troubleshooting.
• Being skilled at Azure Cloud Services.
• Gain knowledge of specific IFS Processors, products, and services.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Networking, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• At least seven years of experience with a track record in working with Enterprise Grade Software and Cloud-based solutions.
• Strong interest in learning and implementing new technologies.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills along with a service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Can demonstrate knowledge and four years of experience with Azure PaaS in the following areas.
  • Experience in configuring Azure App Services, SQL Databases, Azure Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall, Azure Vnet, Azure Front Door, Azure CDN plus Monitoring and Troubleshooting via Azure App Insights and Diagnosis Tools.
• candidate must have at least Azure Az-104 certificate or Az-305.
• candidate must have scripting knowledge such as PowerShell, bash, or python.
• candidate must have experience in Iac tools such as Terraform, Azure Arm templates or Bicep.
• Teaching and mentoring junior team members
• Starting and Leading own initiatives 
• Continuously taking proactive measure in improving services
• Experience with Sitecore PAAS architecture and experience with Sitecore SXA – Troubleshoot Issues, Configurations, and Installations will be high advantage
