As a Sub-Project Manager / PMO for the next-generation TSUBASA system, you will lead coordination and consensus-building among the customer, IBM, Kyndryl, and partner companies, and drive the project forward through requirements clarification, test planning, migration planning, and issue management.

• Facilitate customer meetings, organize discussion points, and manage issues and progress

• Drive coordination and consensus-building among multiple stakeholders, including IBM, Kyndryl, and partner companies

• Support the clarification of system, testing, and migration requirements

• Support test planning, migration planning, and preparations for service launch

• Organize ambiguous requests and translate them into actionable plans

• Contribute broadly from requirements definition through migration in a shared regional banking project

• Work primarily from the Tokyo office and coordinate with customer and partner locations as needed


Who You Are

Required skills and experience


• Experience in customer negotiations and the ability to organize key discussion points through stakeholder dialogue

• Project management experience as a PMO or Project Leader

• Practical experience in requirements clarification, meeting facilitation, issue management, and progress management

• Ability to proactively engage stakeholders and drive projects forward

• Strong coordination skills across multiple internal and external stakeholders

• Willingness and ability to quickly acquire the necessary technical knowledge after joining the project


Preferred skills and experience


• Experience in financial-sector projects, particularly shared regional banking initiatives or bank system modernization

• Experience in system modernization, migration projects, or test planning

• PMO experience in large-scale or multi-vendor projects

• Experience as a customer-facing Project Manager involved from requirements definition through migration

• Flexibility to travel or visit relevant customer and partner locations as needed

• Strong motivation to grow in the project management field
