The purpose of this role is to develop and manage cyber and technology insurance product wordings, including policies, endorsements, and applications, while providing expert advice and support to stakeholders and underwriters. Monitor trends in legal, regulatory, threat, market, and technology areas to drive product development and innovation. Create training programs for underwriters and assist in developing underwriting guidelines and communications.
The Opportunity

Monitor trends in legal, regulatory, threat, market, and technology areas to drive product development and innovation. Create training programs for underwriters and assist in developing underwriting guidelines and communications.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive cyber and technology insurance wordings, including base policies, endorsements, exclusions, and insurance applications.

Ensure insurance applications and other customer-facing documents are current and aligned with evolving cyber insurance product offerings.

Support product leaders to ensure wordings comply with legal and regulatory requirements and align with market standards.

Regularly review and update wordings to reflect emerging risks, industry trends, and customer needs.

Monitor trends in legal, regulatory, threat environments, markets, technology, and other relevant areas that impact cyber insurance products and wordings.

Identify emerging risks and work with product leaders to develop new or enhanced cyber insurance solutions.

Provide insights and recommendations to support product development and innovation, and offer technical expertise to product leaders and underwriters across regions.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure products remain competitive and relevant, and assist in creating underwriting guidelines, updates, and communications.

Develop and implement training programs for underwriters, ensuring they are knowledgeable about product offerings, market trends, and control updates.

Work closely with stakeholders, including product leaders and other key stakeholders, to align cyber wordings and product strategies with business objectives and facilitate strong internal and external relationships.
Work Experience
Preferred Work Experience includes:

Extensive experience in cyber insurance product development and wordings management.

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to monitor and interpret industry trends.

Proven track record of developing innovative insurance solutions.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Leadership experience in training and developing underwriters is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications include:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation
Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs
Annual Salary Range: $144,000 - $216,000
