To be successful in the role you will be/have:
- Visionary leadership – Track record of adopting new technology into content-driven businesses to accelerate delivery and efficiency, including using emerging AI-driven capabilities.
- AI & Adaptive Learning Expertise – Deep understanding of AI-driven content development, automation, and subscription-based business models.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen – Ability to drive financial performance, optimize investment decisions, and scale content monetization.
- Experience Leading Large-Scale Teams – Strong background in leading globally distributed content teams and managing multimillion-pound budgets.
- EdTech Passion & Industry Knowledge – Strong grasp of competitive market forces, emerging trends, and opportunities in education technology would be advantageous. Otherwise relatable industries such as media would be strongly considered.
- This role is responsible for leading this team, executing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment with broader business strategies. It is responsible for ensuring operational processes are executed effectively, alignment with ELL’s business unit goals, and developing talent within the team.
