- Develop backend solutions based on modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and microservice architecture.
- Participate in application architecture and solution design.
- Take part in architecture and code reviews.
- Design and implement unit, integration, functional, and other types of tests.
- Develop highly testable, scalable, performant, and maintainable code.
- Work with Agile methodologies and participate in Scrum activities.
- Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, architects, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate directly with the client on a daily basis to clarify requirements and discuss technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and feature design.
- Troubleshoot, profile, debug, and optimize applications.
- Participate in refactoring and continuous improvement of development processes.
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
- 3+ years of strong commercial experience with Java.
- Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, DDD, TDD/BDD, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and backend development.
- Experience with high-performance and high-load systems.
- Good knowledge of Kotlin and reactive programming, preferably with Spring Boot Reactor.
- Experience with Node.js / TypeScript, particularly for AWS Lambda functions.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication and authorization flows, OAuth, JWT, and network protocols.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or Oracle.
- Experience with NoSQL / key-value storage such as Redis or Memcached.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or similar.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of security principles and common vulnerabilities, including OWASP.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Ability to communicate directly with international clients and clarify technical requirements.
