Team Overview
Data Acquisition team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Java Developer with 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices. The candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives.
- Lead the end-to-end java development for a region and deliver solutions as per the requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Technical Skills
- 7-10 years of experience in Java application development.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
- Java certifications (Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer) are advantageous.
