Salary: $100-$165k
Location: Remote 
Sabot Consulting is seeking a Senior IV&V specialist to help with a new Statewide Phase 1 implementation of Workday. This resource will provide IV&V services to our end client helping with migrating from on prem to cloud handling complicated ERP systems, helping with implementing broad systems, while also providing oversight.
Responsibilities: 

• Perform independent assessments of requirements traceability through design, testing, implementation, and outcome alignment with expectations.
• Review and evaluate design, configuration, development, and testing artifacts and documents.
• Conduct independent, comprehensive assessments to ensure the solution aligns with state requirements and design specifications.
• Provide guidance based on identified gaps and validate whether the Program has met technical quality standards.
• Engage effectively with interested parties and report solely to the end client.
• Building comprehensive plans detailing the IV&V approach, methodologies, technical standards, roles, responsibilities, schedule, and communication strategies.
• Summarizing IV&V activities, blockers, and risks.
• Initial technology risk assessment to prioritize subsequent work activities.
• Review and validation of requirements traceability through design, configuration, and testing.
• System Design Review Reports: Assessments of system design documentation, architecture, data models, and system interfaces.
• Validation of configuration settings and integration components.
• Evaluation of testing strategy, plans, processes, and validation of test results.
• Review and validation of the integration approach and interfaces between the new ERP system and existing legacy systems.
• Assessment of the Program’s technical readiness for deployment.
• Provide IV&V Retrospective meetings with documented lessons learned from each phase of the project.
• Providing On-demand reports addressing specific concerns or emerging risks.

Must Have:

• Minimum of ten years of software development and ERP configuration and implementation experience on projects comparable in size and scale to our end client’s program.
• Ten years providing IV&V services, preferably in local, state, or federal governments.
• Five years’ experience in large-scale complex business transformation projects, or in the analysis or oversight of complex funding and interested parties’ engagement projects or IT systems projects.
• Experience in large business and IT modernization projects, with a portfolio of projects requiring integrated project management oversight.
• Expertise in Workday or equivalent ERP expertise to determine if the solution is correctly implemented within Workday.
• A demonstrated understanding of the value and need for strong multi-agency and enterprise systems.
• Experience in the modernization of legacy systems and understanding of the architecture and analysis to transition legacy systems to a modern cloud-based client centered architecture.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or Collegiate Institution
• Valid and current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). 
• Workday Certification or similar ERP certification.
