Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior IT Project Manager
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading assigned Information Technology projects from planning through execution, implementation, and post-go-live support within established project management standards, policies, timelines, and budgets. This role manages cross-functional technology initiatives across business functions, systems, vendors, and stakeholder groups. The incumbent must demonstrate strong project ownership, sound judgment, stakeholder management, and accountability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Lead active and assigned IT projects across business functions, systems, vendors, and stakeholder groups.
- Define project goals, scope, milestones, timelines, budget estimates, deliverables, success criteria, and resource needs in partnership with business and IT leaders.
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, issue logs, decision logs, action item trackers, and project documentation.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and third-party partners; issue agendas, capture decisions, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Manage project scope, dependencies, risks, issues, change requests, and budget impacts; escalate concerns that may affect schedules, costs, deliverables, or business outcomes.
- Partner with business analysts, development teams, infrastructure teams, quality assurance resources, vendors, and business users to support requirements, design, testing, training, implementation, and stabilization activities.
- Prepare and deliver clear project status updates, dashboards, reports, and presentations for project teams, management, executive leadership, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Create and review project charters, business cases, ROI analyses, process maps, workflow diagrams, use cases, implementation plans, communication plans, training plans, and other project-related materials.
- Ensure projects comply with IT governance standards, organizational policies, procedures, security requirements, and project management practices.
- Use project management and portfolio tools to monitor project performance, schedule adherence, resource utilization, milestone completion, and overall delivery status.
- Provide guidance to project team members and less experienced project managers or coordinators by sharing project management practices, templates, tools, and lessons learned.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of project management, IT project management, technology implementation, business analysis, or related experience.
- Experience leading technology projects, system implementations, application enhancements, infrastructure initiatives, process improvements, or enterprise business systems projects.
- Working to advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and practices, including scope management, schedule management, budget tracking, risk management, issue resolution, change control, and status reporting.
- Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, development resources, quality assurance teams, and technical support teams.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, hybrid project delivery methods, ITIL practices, software development life cycle concepts, and project governance practices preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, risks, issues, meetings, and stakeholder expectations.
