The IT PMO supports an IT Infrastructure with over 10,000+ devices, 200+ applications, multiple data centers (locations in US, Hong Kong, London), Private cloud, Azure, Citrix, we work directly with multiple vendors and consulting firms. This position will lead, and direct multiple projects engaged in the design, implementation, and modification of IT projects (IT Infrastructure/ Security related) that span across functional organizations. In this role you will prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the project team. In this role you will ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. In this role you will keep current on advances in the field of IT and project management. In this role you could provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote IT PMO standards.
  • Manage multiple large- and small-scale complexity projects that have a direct impact on the company.
  • Create power point slides and provide project updates for programs.
  • Manage an IT PMO process with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed.
  • Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.
  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
  • Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
  • Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business process.
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.


Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 years' experience in managing projects as a Project Manager.
  • 2+ years' experience in supporting Programs as a Project Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Project Management/Agile Certification(s): Required, at least 1 of the following (PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, ACP).
  • IT Certification(s): Required, at least 1 in the following areas of IT (CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Azure, Database, IT Security) .


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Business Process Management, LEAN, Six Sigma certified.
  • Experience with Smartsheet (Project Management software) and SharePoint.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Networks, IT Security standards & policies.
  • Expert in creating Power Point presentations and expert with Microsoft Excel.
