Position Summary:
Manage executive-prioritized enterprise projects to help drive change in the organization. Act as a liaison between stakeholders at all levels, and across multiple departments. Works in the Project Management Office (PMO) and establishes best practices in an environment split between Agile, Waterfall, and Lean.
This role can be REMOTE for the most part but will be required to visit the Norfolk office on a quarterly basis.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience managing projects with 3+ years of experience in a technical discipline (or equivalent education).
- Project Management with experience and understanding of Agile, Lean, and Change Management.
- Having a PMP certification is preferred
- Experience interfacing with multiple disciplines (e.g., IT, finance, procurement, compliance, etc.).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of application development, IT infrastructure, or architecture.
- Knowledge of technical project management platforms (Jira or Smartsheet, etc.). Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Must have effective organizational, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle multiple small to large projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Must have superior written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
- Strong facilitation, self-awareness, situational awareness, and conflict resolution skills
- Able to handle multiple at times competing priorities and appropriately balance delivery and expectations with all levels of leadership
- Adaptive/flexible leadership style focused on meeting business needs using a variety of techniques and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or another technical discipline) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the PMO by managing enterprise projects through the project lifecycle.
- Act as a high-level specialist who regularly interacts with senior management.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with appropriate resources.
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure plans are realistic and consistent with business objectives, remove impediments, and facilitate team work to achieve iterative deliverables.
- Ensure project outputs and outcomes are agreed upon internally and externally.
- Ensure delivery dates are adhered to and provide management with appropriate visibility into status and progress toward implementation.
- Identify and manage project related risks and scope changes, escalating as appropriate.
- Ensure appropriate internal and external resources are applied to projects in collaboration with their management.
- Interface with product owners, scrum masters, engineers, developers, architects, and other IT personnel to drive technical solutions within project constraints and communicate solutions in business terms to non-IT stakeholders.
- Develop repeatable reporting and routinely communicate project status, resource utilization and high-level project schedule to PMO leadership, project stakeholders, and project team members, promoting transparency.
- Coordinate and prepare ad hoc reporting and presentations as necessary.
- Maintain productive working relationships cross departmentally to promote a healthy PMO feedback loop, and effectively manage project expectations.
- Upon request, provide project management support for miscellaneous projects that may arise.
- Upon request, contribute to the growth of more junior Project Managers through coaching.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
- Establish and implement process and methodology improvements
- Support the PMO prioritization process and efforts to create predictable and streamlined practices

Salary Range:
$98,000.00 - $152,000.00
PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate. In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position. PRA offers paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, and other benefits to assist with the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees.
