The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of IT programs within the NCRAtleos Services organization, ensuring they deliver business value that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations. This includes aligning programs with the NCRAtleos strategic business plan, securing business sponsorship, developing appropriate business cases, and ensuring measurable benefits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the execution of critical programs across multiple teams and business units.
- Ensuring project delivery practices comply with established solution delivery methodologies.
- Providing program status reports to Business Stakeholders, the CIO, and the IT Leadership Team (ITLT).
- Oracle Applications Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Oracle on-premises applications and Oracle Fusion, including implementation and migration processes
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS): In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain, Human Resources) and their functionalities. Experience in implementing, customizing, and upgrading EBS
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and manage technical aspects of Oracle applications, including database management, cloud services, and integration.
- Functional Knowledge: Understanding of business processes and how they are mapped within Oracle applications. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
This role reports directly to the Director of Program and Portfolio Management. The Program Manager collaborates closely with other ITS PMO leaders and members of the Central Governance Office to govern the strategic alignment, demand management, and delivery management of IT programs, with a particular focus on Oracle Services
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Manage the creation and change management of the overall portfolio with a focus on benefits.
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of the portfolio leveraging the ITS standard tools/processes.
- Govern key programs across the organization
- Ensure the Process and Tools are in alignment
- Ensure the initiation and closure of programs/projects are properly executed and reflected in the project management and time reporting tools.
- Work with the COE leaders to assign Program/Project Managers to programs/projects.
- Prepare materials for the regularly scheduled program portfolio reviews with the Business Sponsor(s), ITLT and IT Partner(s).
- Provide, in the CIO program reviews, status updates of the programs, projects and resources for assigned program portfolio. Provide explanations for key variances and issues.
- Ensure program benefit outlooks/forecasts are maintained on a monthly basis. Provide quarterly benefit comparisons of current outlooks to original plans.
- Provide, to the Project Managers, the leadership and support required to plan and deliver timely, cost effective and quality project deliverables in accordance with project management and solution delivery methodologies.
- Advise Project Managers on the management of project scope, issues, schedules, requirements, resource assignments/allocations, deliverables, budgets, risks and communications. Assess the performance of programs, projects and project managers.
- Provide leadership and guidance to multiple, concurrent programs and projects, while working in a global matrix-managed team environment.
- Identify and effectively resolve issues and conflicts within and among project team(s). Conduct regularly scheduled program/project status and issue reviews with Project Managers.
- Ensure appropriate business and IT resources are engaged and committed during the program/project life cycle.
- Maintain the overall roadmap/Gantt for assigned program portfolio.
- Schedule and lead demand management and portfolio governance meetings.
- Enhance/Improve the ITS standard tools and processes across all ITS PMO organizations.
Basic Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline
- 2+ years of P&L or IT Financial management experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management and SDLC methodologies
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in the execution of large, complex and concurrent IT programs/projects
- Strong project management, customer service and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation and listening skills
- Strong negotiation, team working and interpersonal skills
- Strong expertise with Excel.
- Proficient with Powerpoint and Word
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in the Services business process area including exposure to various IT SW tools including Oracle eBusiness Suite , ServiceNow, BMC Remedy and any other CRM application suite.
- PMP PMI Project Management Professional Certification
- MBA
- Six Sigma Methodology Experience (Green or Black Belt level)
- Agile Software delivery methodology experience
- Proficient in MS Project, JIRA and/or Tempo for time tracking
