Senior It Procurement Manager with US Client Experience

Position: Senior IT Procurement Manager

Shift: Night PST

Location: Hyderabad (WFO/Hybrid), candidates must be from Hyderabad

Who You Are:

This position will be WFO/Hybrid, but you will be working closely with the team in the United States through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and through our software. It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop efficient sourcing and category management strategies
Maintaining existing business and growing new business relationships
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking for review and consultation with key stakeholders
Implement best-practice negotiation strategies and secure cost-effective, mutually beneficial, profitable partnerships
Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of services providers and provide mitigation steps and plans to remain in front of the competition.
Maintain a friendly, professional, and fair relationship with vendors/suppliers while promoting company initiatives, values, and objectives
Monitor and advice on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
Evaluate supplier performances through data compilation and regular supplier review and feedback sessions
Conduct procurement activities in accordance with stated global and regional processes and policies.
Manage accurate and on-time functional and business reporting against agreed procurement performance metrics
Ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency of data in the purchasing information systems

Requirements: 
In-depth experience in managing end-to-end IT Procurement across multiple subcategories including but not limited to Software, Hardware, Cloud, Outsourcing, etc., with a focus on Telecoms as well
Experience in a telecommunications procurement environment
Experience with e-procurement and supply chain systems
Strong commercial skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders in the business as well as key suppliers
Experience in working within a technology/telecommunications business in the supply chain, specializing in creating business value through strategic partnership agreements
Familiarity with Framework/Master Services Agreements
Strong academic background is beneficial but not essential
Procurement technical skills including negotiation skills, contract drafting, drafting of relevant RfPs, etc, and use of category management techniques in setting category plans
Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Applications, especially MS Excel
Excellent communicator in written, verbal, and presenting skills
