Senior IT Manager of Financial Services

Job Description:

The primary role of IT Service Owner for Superledger is to deliver agreed portfolio of services in efficient way, meeting business needs and being aligned with IT best practices and company standards. Service Owner is accountable for end-to-end delivery, performance and quality of the service, including the following areas of responsibility. Technology portfolios focus on Oracle EPM Cloud

Duties & Responsibilities

Service Delivery:

  • Planning of service roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Business vision and objectives.
  • Defining and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs) to measure the efficiency of the service.
  • Defining and maintaining of service catalogue to provide clear overview of available service components and standardized information about services, benefits and associated cost.
  • Ensuring service compliance with security policies, regulations and company standards; developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring service stability and continuity.

Solution Design, Development and Implementation:

  • Accountability for E2E application delivery alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Provide estimations for new demand and implementation plan for business requirements and projects.

Relationship Management:

  • Manage relationships with Saas providers (like Oracle) and other vendors to ensure smooth delivery of designed solutions
  • Managing contracts related to the service, ensuring compliance with company terms and conditions.
  • Negotiating contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as needed, in collaboration with the Vendor Manager.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external vendors.
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for high severity service issues, closely collaborating with Operations Manager and Support teams to restore normal operations.

Service Governance & Reporting:

  • Regularly conducting service reviews with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective service management.
  • Maintaining comprehensive governance framework, ensuring alignment and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Providing regular reports to stakeholders on the status, performance and quality of the service.

Budget Planning and Execution:

  • Developing and managing the service budget, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals and company targets
  • Monitoring and controlling cost components to stay within budget, identifying and addressing any variances.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of month-end processes activities, collaborating with Finance and Controlling teams

Team and People Management:

  • Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized and staffed, guiding and motivating direct and indirect reports within company standards and policies
  • Allocating responsibilities and tasks to both internal teams and contractors, delegating tasks as appropriate.
  • Foster effective working relationships within the team and with external consultants, offering support and guidance
  • Advising team members on career development and encouraging continuous enhancement of skills and capabilities.

Minimum requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant working experience in IT Service delivery within global corporate environment, preferable experience working for Financial Consolidation and reporting functions.
  • 3+ years in a similar Service Owner role.
  • Understanding and experience in IT Service Delivery, preferably with technologies for Financial Consolidation and IFRS reporting functions
  • Experience working with Saas solutions, Oracle desired
  • A deep practical understanding of IT Service Management, IT Governance, IT Financial Management and Vendor Management.
  • Experience in streamlining and consolidating processes across technologies, delivery process and team management.
  • Master's degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
  • Alternatively, master’s degree in accounting and finance
  • ITIL certifications
  • Certifications related to IT for Finance technologies (Oracle FCCS, Hyperion HFM, SAP FC, other financial consolidation systems) a plus
  • Fluency in English.
