Position Summary:
Engages Information Technology (IT) leaders at the individual level to assess and improve executive leadership presence and skill. Designs training courses and materials to create new behavioral training programs. Coaches and mentors leaders throughout the assessment process to ensure learned behaviors are applied on the job. Serves as a liaison/consultant to assess needs for behavioral change to align with corporate strategies and executive leadership capabilities. Leads and facilitates leadership/management programs and forums to engage and cultivate leadership growth throughout the organization.
What You Will Do:
- Operates as an organizational leader and internal consultant to IT to understand business goals and objectives in order to identify, develop, and implement learning solutions to improve individual leader performance. Collaborates with organizational leaders to identify skill gaps to address strategic needs of the organization regarding leadership development and courses.
- Maintains a coaching relationship with management, providing consistent feedback and strategies for continued improvement. Provides customized training and feedback solutions for leadership such as peer reviews and 360 evaluations.
- Continually monitors training program impact and results to improve solutions and service. Stays up to date on training technology and content and evaluates against leadership needs to identify training innovation opportunities. Designs, develops, and delivers new training programs as needed to meet developmental needs within IT, building professional skillsets within the department by participating in the training and career development of staff. Works with existing IT Training staff to engage leaders by increasing their knowledge of behavioral training and classroom training techniques.
- Conducts needs assessments to identify individual learning opportunities. Evaluates costs and options and makes recommendations for appropriate training solutions; utilizing both internal and external resources to meet needs.
To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need:
Required Education:
- Bachelor's
- or 4 years of additional job related experience (for a total of 12) such a leadership coach / consultant, organizational development, financial and/or business analysis, process improvement, corporate strategic planning.
Required Work Experience:
- 8 years in a leadership coaching/consulting role or 5 years in IT training position with 3 years of experience in delivering behavioral and leadership training and 2 years as a leadership coach (can be concurrent).
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to apply appropriate development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver case studies to ensure relevant skill, knowledge, and competency transfer.
- Capable of integrating business and behavioral leadership concepts when designing/delivering courses/materials.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning theory, behavioral training and leadership development disciplines.
- Proven ability to effectively mentor and coach by demonstrating professional maturity, judgment and experience.
- Ability to partner and communicate with clients in building leaders within the organization to effectively manage relationships and cultivate a positive and productive work environment.
- Expertise in the field of emotional intelligence, leadership and management development, program evaluation, and transfer of learning, as well as facilitation of executive leadership programs/courses.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, work with ambiguity and invoke cooperation of executive leadership within the organization.
- Must be able to effectively collaborate within a matrixed environment and manage demands of multiple stakeholders.

- Classroom and other office equipment.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Professional coaching certification.
