Job DescriptionAt ARHS Group, part of Accenture, we are hiring a Senior IT Business Analyst (m/f) to bridge business needs and technical implementation within a European public-sector environment in Luxembourg. You will play a hands-on role in requirements analysis, backlog management, testing coordination, and functional support activities.
THE WORK:
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT solutions.
- Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, aligned with Agile practices.
- Model processes and workflows (UML) to support automation and operational improvements.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams.
- Manage and refine backlogs, ensuring requirements are complete, prioritized, and development-ready.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Design and validate test cases and participate in end-to-end testing activities.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collect business sign-off on deliverables.
- Provide reporting on project progress, risks, and resource planning.
- Produce and maintain project documentation including business requirements, user manuals, and procedural guides.
- Support application operations and functional issue resolution when required.
Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst in large financial institutions or European/international organizations.
- Strong background in SDLC, requirements gathering, and UML modeling.
- Experience working on e-banking and lending application projects.
- Solid experience in software testing, including writing test cases and coordinating UAT.
- Ability to produce clear documentation including business requirements, test scenarios, and user manuals in English.
- Strong skills in SQL and data quality-related activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and tools such as Jira and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level); French (B2 level) is an asset.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Experience working within Agile environments and backlog management processes.
