We are seeking a talented individual to join our Alternative Investments team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior IT Business Analysis Specialist will ensure the delivery of a portfolio of investment applications that serve our Private Equity and Hedge Funds advisory teams, playing a critical role in enhancing and maintaining essential Global Investment business systems.

We will count on you to:
Gather, document, and refine business, operations, and system requirements in collaboration with business teams and technical subject matter experts;
Translate business needs and requirements into use cases, detailed technical specifications, user stories, and functional documentation, ensuring alignment with system designs;
Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and IT governance standards, and to remediate obsolescence and technical debt;
Investigate, triage, diagnose, and resolve complex application & performance issues, providing ongoing support for high-severity incidents and ensuring service availability;
Assist with testing application enhancements, upgrades, and disaster recovery (DR) processes;
Ensure current and accurate documentation of products, including architecture diagrams, upgrade schedules, user guides, training materials, and testing documentation;
What you need to have:
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT, investment management, investment operations, or financial services.
Bachelor’s degree with majors in computer science, mathematics, or finance is preferred.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, calculations, and data analysis; VBA macro coding is a plus.
Fluent spoken English is required with strong skills in business writing.

Experience with tools and software such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, Smartsheet, and Camunda;
