As part of Group IT, we are on a transformation journey to industrialize IT and help the rest of the organization to mature processes and efficiency. Group IT consists of around 90 skilled and motivated colleagues around the globe.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Atlassian/Jira Administrator to support maintain, improve and roll-out Jira Service Management to various teams in our Business. Based in Manila, you will work with 2 other colleagues on the Atlassian Platform which, in SimCorp, consists of Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence. We are using the Atlassian Cloud version.
You will join team of 6 other colleagues in the Supporting Applications team within IT Business Solutions. This team handles, in addition to the Atlassian platform, various applications such as CLM, ADLM, BPM, LMS and Integrations between systems. While your focus will be on the Atlassian Platform, you are expected to also learn some of the other applications to assist ensure we have enough knowledge and availability in the team to cover for all applications.
What you will be responsible for:
- Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian platform and products (Jira Service Management, Jira, Confluence, Atlassian Administration)
- Customize projects, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications to meet business requirements
- Develop, design and maintain robust Project/Space and Global Automations to meet business requirements.
- Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs
- Devise, test, and deploy integration's between Atlassian products and other internal tool chains
- Create and contribute to both internal and end user documentation.
- Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and also briefing the team/s on new functionalities.
- Take part in application support and maintenance tasks
- Propose ways to innovate and make our solutions more efficient
- Adhere to IT principles and suggest future changes
- Work on implementing the backlog of ideas, change requests, new releases, and enhancements
What we value:
- Experienced in administrating Atlassian products (Jira Service Management, Jira, Confluence)
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., Managing Jira Service Project for Cloud, Jira Administration for Cloud, etc).
- Preferably experience with Jira Query Language (JQL) and Asset Query Language (AQL), Atlassian REST API. and JSON in Automation
- Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems is beneficial
- Working knowledge of Agile (Kanban) methodologies
- Very Service-minded and have a positive mindset
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow
- You like to work in an environment where things go fast and where you have a great impact on the achieved results and solutions
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-focused attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks, to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Good collaboration and communication skills in English
- You are humble with a sense of humor, and amenable to work in EMEA hours.
