We are looking for a Senior IP Product Analyst to join our IP Laws team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of our IP Portfolio Management Software Systems. This team member will utilize their intellectual property expertise to assist in the analysis, implementation, and release of statutory due dates in the IP Portfolio Management Systems’ recurring law updates. The global team consists of more than 10 people, and, in this role, you will report to the Manager of IP Product.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

Bachelor’s degree (legal or similar background).

5+ years of experience in the legal field, with at least 2 years of experience in the intellectual property field.

Experience in IP Management Software, preferably FoundationIP; experience analyzing data and creating advanced data queries

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other tools that may be required or day-to-day work.

Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate law changes into technical requirements accompanied by easily understood end-user documentation; well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills.

Good investigative & analytical skills as well as the ability to quickly respond to changes; capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment; flexibility, attention to detail & results-orientation.
What will you be doing in this role?

Execute against strategy to keep the FoundationIP law engine up to date with jurisdictional law changes and take part in coordinating the deliverables associated with each IP law client content release, adhering to agreed/defined release frequencies.

Draft implementation requirements and implement identified configuration changes according to defined processes and best practices into assigned IP management system; participate in the QA review of implementation requirements drafted by peers; enhance or amend existing configuration pertaining to assigned internal projects or client queries; utilize and update internal tracking tools on progress of implementations.

Analyze changes produced when applying law update release candidates against fictional client data identifying potential issues or anomalies; closely collaborate with the Quality/Testing team to ensure the implementation is working as intended; review, research, and analyze support queries from clients and assist in determining comprehensive resolutions; work closely with the customer law support team on issues and questions reported by the customer.

Escalate and assist in resolving issues with law related functionality of the consuming software, law interface and upgrade tools interacting with colleagues in IP Laws, product, and software development.

Maintain and enhance documentation and best practices on implementation processes.
About the Team
This is a Global team with immediate team members in US (Texas), Belgrade and India. This team is responsible for providing recurring releases of IP law updates to our clients containing configuration to calculate deadlines for new laws or law changes. The main purpose of this role is to analyze, interpret, test, and implement new or modified intellectual property laws into Clarivate’s IP Management Software Systems. Subsequently, the publishes the law update content to customers including release notes and other related documentation. This enables Clarivate customers to keep their IP portfolio up to date.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week ( 9-5 CET), full-time employment, #LI-Hybrid (3 days in the office every other week).
