Senior IOS Developer

About the Role

In this role you will be an integral part of Mobile Engineering at Gojek - designing and developing reliable maintainable features and enhancements to Gojek Mobile App. Product, Design and Backend Engineering teams will be your companions on this ride.

What You Will Do

• Design improvements to our existing product (in the iOS) platform by utilizing core Computer Science thought processes and focusing on our customer's needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, DevOps, Design etc.) on planning and execution
• Write code, perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies
• Complete documentation and procedures for testing and maintenance
• Implement unit tests and functional tests for their tasks
• Convert given high-level software design to low-level software design
• Conduct code reviews with other engineers on the team

What You Will Need

• At least 4+ years relevant software development experience
• Proficient in Swift programming, Cocoa, Xcode, and the iOS SDK
• Understanding of iOS Apps architecture and implementation
• Ability to write model code for functional and nonfunctional requirements and help improve the code quality standard across the team
• Working experience with popular libraries for networking, async, image loading etc.

About the Team

Consumer Platforms group is responsible for the core user flows in Gojek Customer Apps which services 10s of use cases to millions of users. The Customer Growth Vertical is responsible for optimizing for (providing incremental) transactions at select touch points outside of the core product flows via non-incentivized means. These include the “registration and first time user experience flows”, “cross sell”, and “search”.
