Job Summary

The Senior Internal Talent Mobility Programs Advisor plays a critical role in accelerating career growth and fostering internal mobility for critical talent pools across the company. This role designs, implements, and evaluates programs that empower employees to advance their career development while meeting evolving business needs, such as rotational programs, job shadowing, upskilling/reskilling or other industry best practices. Partnering closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition, and business leaders, this position focuses on creating frameworks, tools, and strategies that target internal mobility and accelerated development of talent in critical roles. Reporting to the Executive Director of Talent Management, this role also provides governance over internal job posting and open role slating practices to foster transparent, equitable and consistent internal hiring.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Program Design and Implementation: Develop and execute scalable internal mobility programs, such as rotational assignments, job shadowing, apprentice and career pathing frameworks, tailored to support business needs and employee growth.
  • Collaborative Talent Pool Management & Slating: Work closely with Talent Management peers, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to align internal mobility and slating initiatives with broader talent strategies, ensuring an integrated approach that drives internal talent pipeline development and critical role bench strength.
  • Enable HRBPs and Leaders: Provide training, tools, and resources to HRBPs and business leaders, enabling them to guide employees in navigating career opportunities and facilitating effective internal mobility conversations. Facilitate ongoing Talent Calls to review open roles in alignment with Job Posting Governance and Internal Fill targets while ensuring equitable, transparent and consistent hiring practices.
  • Data and Metrics: Analyze internal mobility trends, fill rates and program outcomes using data and key performance indicators (KPIs). Use insights to refine strategies and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Communication and Awareness: Promote internal mobility programs through effective communication strategies, ensuring employees and leaders are aware of opportunities and tools available to support career growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly gather feedback from stakeholders to evaluate and improve program design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and evolving workforce needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in talent management, workforce planning, or program development, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing career development programs or internal mobility initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and using insights to inform program improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leaders and facilitate training sessions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
