About the opportunity:
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance across financial and operational processes. You will lead audits, identify risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements and maintain a high standard of governance. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to risk-based decision-making while working cross-functionally in an international environment.
Your tasks include:
- Lead and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits with a strong focus on internal controls
- Identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Drive corrective actions and monitor remediation efforts to ensure timely and effective resolution
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws
- Document audit procedures and support risk-based reporting and conclusions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support external audit activities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors and contribute to continuous improvement of audit practices
Your profile:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 4 years of experience in auditing and/or accounting, ideally within a Big 4 environment
- Experience with internal controls frameworks, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and business processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with changing demands
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach
