About the Role

Join a global finance environment where accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement drive real business impact. As a Senior Intercompany Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial transactions across multiple NOV entities.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing intercompany activities across a selection of NOV ledgers. You will collaborate daily with colleagues across regions to process invoices, manage intercompany payments, and support reporting activities related to intercompany balances and aging. 

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with analytical thinking and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, and who is motivated to contribute to NOV’s ongoing financial success.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise assigned activities and support junior team members, ensuring high-quality delivery and consistency across intercompany processes
  • Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring all intercompany entries are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards in all activities
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
  • Maintain well-organized and audit-ready documentation (e.g., month-end files, SOX documentation)
  • Monitor and enhance the accuracy and integrity of intercompany balances through effective controls and reconciliation processes
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and responses to queries
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in in accounting or finance, preferably in General Ledger or Intercompany accounting
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Proficient in using ERP systems, preferably JDE
  • Good command of Excel and general MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial information effectively

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • Previous BlackLine and JDE experience

Skills Required
