About us
We are looking for a Senior Interco Accountant to join core team of Shared Service Centre in Warsaw and to help us establish best in class service.
What we can offer you
You will be a part of a finance Team focusing on delivering operational excellence to our locations across Europe. You will be taking a key role in stabilizing and ensuring the smooth running of Interco processes to provide the best in class service to our European businesses.
Your main tasks
- Performing intercompany activities: invoicing, payment, reconciliation, resolution of discrepancies in accordance with the group accounting policies & procedures, and local regulations
- Managing of month-end close process, ensuring the books are closed on time and in good quality
- Participation in establishing centralized process in SSC in Intercompany area
- Cooperation and communication with auditors and Local Husqvarna Teams
- Ensuring completeness and correctness of data in accounting / financial system, including Internal Controls preparation
- Reporting of financial results in relevant systems
- Verifying the correctness and completeness of data, reports and statements along with the analysis of deviations
- Preparing monthly / annual / quarterly reports and other documents required by the management team
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Assuring process compliance with Husqvarna policies and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Professional experience in the area of accounting / bookkeeping and very good knowledge of Intercompany process
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of JD Edwards is a must
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in Transitions (Process maps & SOP creation) will be an asset
- Be a strong team player
