Senior Intelligence Analysts play a key role in building the infrastructure to enable the collection, interpretation, transformation, and dissemination of intelligence crucial to the protection of insurance clients from fraudulent actors. Senior Intelligence Analysts provide Resilience security teams and clients with strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence, and use information derived from all intelligence disciplines to determine changes in actor activity, capabilities, intent, and resources our customers face.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be key in securing our clients by providing actionable intelligence, threat analysis, and strategic guidance. This position requires a deep understanding of cyber threats, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
This position is a Hybrid position located in our San Francisco office.
Requirements:
- Participate in the identification, tracking, monitoring, and mitigation of information security threats.
- Prepare detailed intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship to Intelligence Analysts and subject matter expertise to internal and external inquiries.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Perform analysis to provide network and data security utilizing established processes and tools to focus on threat identification, analysis, remediation, and mitigation of information security threats.
- Illuminate threats across threat problems, contextualizing emerging trends with relevant geopolitical, cultural, or society-specific nuances.
- Reviews and analyzes security events, determines their severity, and authors reports detailing the activity.
- Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
- Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, to provide comprehensive support.
- Collaborate with industry peers, government agencies, and other organizations to share intelligence.
- Contribute to the development of new tools, methodologies, and processes for threat intelligence and analysis.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in cyber threat intelligence or related field (threat hunting; digital forensics, SOC, intrusion, or incident response analysis; reverse, security, or detection engineering; security consulting.
- Mastery of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements.
- Mastery of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Experience in writing and presenting technical findings clearly and effectively.
- Commitment to training, self-study, and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security domain.
- Strong problem-solving skills that model clear, analytical thinking and sound judgment.
- Proven high level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
- Relevant certifications (GCTI, CISSP, CySA+) are preferred but not required.
