Description

The Integration Engineer is a hands-on leader and strategic decision-maker responsible for identifying, implementing, and supporting technologies that enable business growth. This role demands a self-starter who proactively finds work, addresses systemic issues, and brings innovative solutions to the table. You will work with both the IT Infrastructure and Applications teams to support a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment.

In this role, you will work on some of the leading technologies designed to disrupt the longstanding methodologies of lubricant delivery. With the use of cloud, networking, and advanced systems, you will work directly with key client stakeholders committed to the OilTech disruption. You will lead initiatives to define and solve business problems, drive decisions, and take ownership of technical outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring business value, communicating results, making executive presentations, and being a part of a results-driven technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in network and systems engineering, including experience with firewalls, application implementations, virtualization, backups, and cloud services. You will not only recommend and design solutions but take the lead in executing and optimizing them.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, integration, and implementation of new and existing business applications and infrastructure.
  • Act as a key decision-maker in evaluating and selecting enterprise-level technologies.
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, and inefficiencies and resolve them with minimal oversight.
  • Manage and secure firewall systems across multiple environments.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver application solutions that align with company objectives.
  • Drive the implementation of cloud-based technologies and ensure proper integration with on-prem systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain complex network environments to ensure performance and uptime.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations on technology roadmaps.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems/network engineering, with proven application implementation and infrastructure leadership.
  • Strong experience managing firewall configurations and network security policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, make informed decisions, and work autonomously.
  • Certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or relevant technologies strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), virtualization, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
